Item Name: Gloves of the Octopus

Description: These unusual gloves are made from octopus skin, on the palm they are covered with tiny suckers, with a texture that shifts and changes to mimic the gloves’ surroundings. When worn, the gloves grant the user enhanced dexterity, the ability to cling to surfaces like an octopus, and the power to release a defensive ink spray.
Abilities:
Enhanced Dexterity: While wearing the Gloves of the Octopus, the user’s Dexterity score increases by 2, up to a maximum of 20.
Sure Grip: The Gloves of the Octopus provide the user with exceptional grip strength, granting advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks made to climb or hold onto surfaces.
Wall Cling: The Gloves of the Octopus allow the user to cling to walls and other surfaces as if under the effects of the spider climb spell. The user can move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and even upside down along ceilings. Their speed while climbing is equal to their walking speed, and they do not need to make ability checks to climb difficult surfaces.
Ink Spray: As an action, the user can activate the ink spray feature of the Gloves of the Octopus, releasing a cloud of thick, black ink in a 10-foot radius centered on the user. The ink heavily obscures the area and provides total concealment. The ink dissipates after 1 minute or when exposed to a strong current of water or wind. This ability can be used once per short or long rest.
Restrictions: The Gloves of the Octopus must be attuned to the user to function. The gloves’ wall cling ability does not function on surfaces coated with slippery substances or magical barriers that prevent climbing.
